AI means “making machines do things that would need intelligence if done by man”

Therefore
Can AI make art? No, it can’t, not as long as “AI Art Generators” are still being built the same way they are. AI Art Generators feel like NLP tools, in the way that in how they were made, they don’t mimic the way the human mind actually thinks. [often, they work backwards]
We don’t even consider all human “art” to be art. Even amongst ourselves, we have some set of standards on what “counts” as “art”. Until the “art” made by AI reflects its own consciousness of its existence,
